Empowering KwaMhlanga Through Skills Excellence
Founded in 2019, Songo Skills Development Training Center was born from a need to address poverty, crime, and drug abuse in our community. We believe the most powerful weapon against these challenges is opportunity.
By equipping youth with tangible, accredited trade skills—from Electrical Engineering to AI Data Science—we are creating a generation of builders, fixers, and innovators.

Fees & Funding
We strive to make skills development accessible. Costs vary by program duration and level.
Course Fees
- Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee of R500 is required to secure your spot.
- Monthly Tuition: Affordable monthly installments available. Contact admissions for specific trade rates.
- Equipment: PPE (Safety boots, overalls) is required for technical trades.
Funding & Bursaries
- NSFAS & SETA: Accredited learnerships may be eligible for stipend support depending on current government allocations.
- Corporate Sponsorship: We partner with local businesses to sponsor high-performing students.
- Visit our campus admin office to discuss available funding options for the 2025 intake.
